Our vision is to be a lighthouse in our community founded in Matthew 28. Combining our gifts, talents and skills, working together through with the Holy Spirit in establishing the Kingdom of God until Jesus comes.
ABOUT US
Live Like Christ, Love Like Christ, Serve Like Christ
Our church began meeting several years back, and a lot has changed for us over the years. However, one thing has remained consistent: a focus on helping people live in love for the Kingdom of God.
We are situated in Germiston, Johannesburg, but our people represent a rich diversity of ethnic, educational and socio-economic backgrounds. It’s difficult to summarize the culture and essence of a church community, but you can learn more about us by checking out what we believe and our ministries.
You may also get a “flavour” for our ministry and worship by visiting us. We would love to meet you, so if you are in our neck of the woods, please come and visit us.
WE ARE THE CHURCH
In order to be successful in our calling as God’s people, we must continue to grow in following the example of Jesus Christ. God the Father sent Him to be the Saviour of the world (1 John 4:14) and to set the example of how we are to live our lives.
Jesus said to His disciples, “For I have given you an example that you should do as I have done to you,” and He added, “If you know these things, happy are you if you do them” (John 13:15, 17).
Peter wrote, “To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps” (1 Peter 2:21). And John added, “Whoever claims to live in Him must live as Jesus did” (1 John 2:6). Paul understood this and said, “Follow me as I also follow Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1).
Look at the example that Jesus Christ set for us to follow. And remember that we cannot do this on our own strength. Christ will live His life in us by the power of the Holy Spirit, as we submit ourselves to Him.

Imagine what our families, church, and community would be like if we all took the time to do what God uniquely designed each of us to do in serving others. The ripple effect of each person making their unique contribution would result in a revolution of Christ's love being felt in tangible, life-changing ways.
Begin by asking yourself, "What am I passionate about?" What issue or people group really catches your interest? What problem or issue would you like to solve?
Next, consider how God has uniquely wired you. Consider your personality, skills, abilities, and life experiences. How could these help you make a meaningful contribution in the lives of others?
